Elkins Raceway in Kerens, W.Va., has added the Aug. 7 Jim Stout Memorial to the track's schedule. The event for unsanctioned Super Late Models also pays $3,037 for second place and $2,037 for third place.

Bonuses include $500 to the dash winner, $200 for fast qualifier and $100 for hard charger along with $150 apiece to lead laps 15 and 37.

Among other divisions, Fastrak-sanctioned Crate Late Models will chase a $1,537-to-win purse. If interested in sponsoring a lap in the Super Late Model event, contact the track.

• The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series has removed three races from the schedule: Aug. 7 at Mountain Motorsports Park in Isom, Ky., and Nov. 12-13 action at Southern Raceway in Milton, Fla. The Southern event was cancelled because it conflicted with Senoia (Ga.) Raceway's Peach State Classic.

• The Zimmer's United Late Model Series announced cancellations for the Aug. 7 event at Latrobe (Pa.) Speedway and Aug. 14 event at Genesee Speedway in Batavia, N.Y. Latrobe was concerned over recent limits on tire inventories and the Genesee event might be replaced by another venue, according to the series.
