Extra cash is on the line for Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway's Jackson County Fair races scheduled for the final weekend in July.

Thursday, July 29's event will include a $1,500-to-win event for the Indiana Crate Late Model Series with an extra $500 going to the winner in memory of late fair board member Don Gardner, who died June 12 at the age of 78. Gardner was also an electrician at the fairgrounds for many years.

Saturday, July 31's eighth annual Paul Crockett Memorial for Super Late Models pays $2,500-to-win with starting pay of $225. For details about the fair, visit jacksoncountyfair.org.
