Friday's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., was cancelled after persistent rain interrupted the event during time trials. The $12,000-to-win event won't be made up.

The national tour is scheduled for a $15,000-to-win event Saturday at Deer Creek. The series is monitoring Saturday's forecasts and will make a decision on racing at 10 a.m. CDT.

Fans holding tickets for Friday's event will get credit toward Saturday's tickets; fans with tickets for both days will receive a refund.

Friday pit passes can be exchanged for a Saturday pit pass; there will also be refund for those who purchased two-day pit passes.
