BYRAM, Miss. (July 13) — Winning his fourth race in as many weekends, Ray Moore of Haughton, La., ended Chris Wall’s three-race series winning streak Saturday at Jackson Motor Speedway’s Doyle Lott Memorial. Moore earned $2,500 for his first-ever Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory.

Wall, of Springfield, La., was leading late in the race when he clipped the turn-four wall, allowing Moore to slip past to take the lead and the victory. Wall salvaged the second spot while fast qualifier and polesitter Neil Baggett of Shannon, Miss., was third.

Henry Cooper of Star, Miss., was fourth and Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss., rounded out the top five finishers in the second of two weekend MSCCS events. Wall, the tour’s points leader, won Friday’s race at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park.
