Breazeale and Moyer started on the front row with Breazeale taking command and Moyer struggling to keep pace, initially falling back to fourth, getting back to second by lap 10, then slipping behind Tim Busha and Burroughs to fourth on lap 35.
But a lap-39 caution changed things when Busha spun in turn four after contact with Breazeale as they battled for the lead. Moyer used the high side on the restart to get past Burroughs and Breazeale and lead the last 11 laps.
