Brinkley rules first-ever Bama Super Series race
TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (March 20) — Jay Brinkley of Shelbyville, Tenn., dominated the opening Bama Super Series feature at North Alabama Speedway for $2,000 victory. Billy Moyer Jr. of Batesville, Ark., finished second followed by Brandon King of nearby Decatur, Ala., the first home-state finisher. Ben Kittrell of Mount Pleasant, Tenn., and Anthony Burroughs of Athens, Ala., rounded out the top five. Polesitter Rick Rickman of Columbus, Miss., pulled off prior to the green flag and was listed 24th in the final rundown. | Slideshow
The Bama Super Series, a new two-track collaboration between North Alabama Speedway and Moulton Speedway, continues its season-opening weekend with a $3,000-to-win event Saturday at Moulton.
