What won the race: Going underneath polesitter Caiden Black in turn two on the second lap, Tyler Carpenter drove his father's car to a dominating $6,000 Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series victory Saturday in the Ronnie Moran Memorial at Muskingum County Speedway. Running virtually unchallenged, Carpenter took the checkers 8.053 seconds ahead of outside front-row starter Todd Brennan in the 36-lapper honoring the late track owner.
Quotable: "It seems like I'm always good here, but I ain't got enough to (pull off) a good one," Carpenter said.
