Key notes: The 38th annual DIRTcar Summer Nationals rolls on as the tour visits Clarksville Speedway for Saturday’s $10,000-to-win main event. … Not only serving as the 15th round of 2023, Saturday’s feature also marks the 26th-ever Summer Nationals stop at the Clarksville, Tenn., oval, a track the tour has consistently visited since Tony Stewart won 1998’s inaugural visit. … Week two points champion Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., overcame a flat tire to win Friday’s $10,000 Summer Nationals race at Paducah International Raceway; Feger notched his third series win of the season and the 26th of his career. … Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., has won two of the last three DIRTcar Summer Nationals races as he eyes his second career Hell Tour victory at Clarksville after topping 2021’s $10,000 series stop there. … Mike Marlar won May’s $10,000 Ultimate Heart of America series race at Clarksville, but he is not expected to compete. … Brian Shirley won March’s $7,500 Toilet Bowl at Clarksville, to go along with his two Summer Nationals victories there in 2020 and ’22, but he is also not expected. … Dennis Erb Jr. leads all drivers with four Hell tour victories (2008, ’12, ’17 and ’20) at the Clarksville, Tenn., oval, but he is also expected to be competing with the World of Outlaws at I-94 Speedway along with Marlar and Shirley. … Modifieds headline a nine-division undercard. … All gates open at 2 p.m., with hot laps scheduled for 6 and racing set to begin at 7:30. … Watch live on DIRTVision.
