When the racing season ends, many race fans turn their attention towards football. Whether it's NFL or college football, it doesn't seem to matter. For as long as I can remember, drivers and race teams have cheated: Worked the gray areas, found a loophole in the rulebook, worked within the intent of the rule, worked over the rulebook — or whatever you want to call it. For me, I can't stand political correctness, so I simply call it cheating. Cars either race within the definition of the rules or not. And just to clarify, the type of cheating I am referring to is illegalities with the race car, not driving maneuvers.
