With another night of racing complete, I walk down to the pit area and am amazed by the steady stream of headlights from gridlocked cars trying to leave the speedway. It is a beautiful evening and I can’t think of anything better than to be headed to the pits to talk with the drivers and crews about the evening, look over their cars, and thank them for coming out to race.
