From track reports

ANTIGO, Wis. (Oct. 4) — Fourth-starting A.J. Diemel of Bonduel, Wis., overtook front-row starter Terry Anvelink of Navarino, Wis., after 10 laps and led the rest of the WISSOTA Late Model portion of the eighth annual Indian Summer Classic at Langlade County Speedway. Diemel earned $5,000 for the 40-lap victory as he finished ahead of the 23rd-starting Justin Ritchie of New London, Wis.

Ritchie finished second followed by hometown driver Todd Flannery and Nick Anvelink's, Terry son who rallied back into contention after being involved in one of the many early cautions. Mark Mitchell of Bonduel rounded out the top five. Terry Anvelink's engine let go on the 25th lap, knocking him out of the race, and polesitter Paul Parker of Kaukana, Wis., finished 11th.
