Bricen James of Albany, Ore., led all 40 laps from the pole Saturday for his sixth career I-5 Silver Bullet Late Model Series victory. ... James captured a $2,000 payday and his first win since Aug. 16, 2024, at Southern Oregon Speedway in White City. ... Collen Winebarger trailed James for all but one lap before finishing 1.509 seconds back at the checkers. ... Joey Tanner, Ian Whisler and Eston Whisler won heats. ... Tanner topped the 22-car field in time trials. ... Twelve starters completed 40 laps with 14 running at the finish of the 34-minute feature.
