Fourth-starting Andy Bryant took the checkers, but he was disqualified in the inaugural Ozark Limited Late Model Series event (in postrace tech inspection, Bryant's engine failed to pull 15 inches of vacuum at 1,000 r.p.m.). ... Chris Hawkins of Neosho, Mo., inherited the $500 victory. ... Bryant led all 20 laps and took the checkers 2.405 seconds ahead of Hawkins. ... The event drew 10 cars.
