What won the race: Polesitter Michael Rouse of Wilson, N.C., soared to his second career Fast Unified Engine Late Model Series victory on Saturday night in the Race for the Kids at County Line Raceway. Finishing 6.689 seconds ahead of series champ Russell Erwin, Rouse pocketed $2,500.
Key notes: Rouse won his second career FUEL feature; he also won County Line's Race for the Kids in 2018. ... Skeeter Liles advanced five positions to finish fourth. ... Second-starting Matthew Bissette of Middlesex, N.C., was one of four cars that retired on the sixth lap. … A two-win winner this season with the FUEL Racing Series Robbie Emory of Milton, Del., pulled off on the ninth lap. … Six cars completed 30 laps. … Dustin Mitchell had transmission problems in prelims, forcing him to start deep in the feature field. ...
