BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (March 14) — Eighth-starting Trevor Glaser of Tangent, Ore., overtook Mike Johnson with two laps remaining at Bakersfield Speedway to win the first-ever West Coast Late Model Shootout event and a $2,000 payday. | Slideshow
Johnson, of Lompoc, Calif., settled for second in a Zack Forster-owned car in a feature with six lead changes among four drivers. Front-row starter A.J. Kirkpatrick of Castroville, Calif., led early and finished third followed by Andy Obertello of Hollister, Calif., and Mike Kirby of Torrance, Calif.
