What won the race: Sixth-starting Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., raced to his ninth Super Late Model Racing Series victory of the season in the Midwest Fall Brawl. Berck earned $1,300 for his victory while runner-up Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., pocketed $1,400 in an event quirk.
Key notes: Berck previously won a race at I-80 on July 17 and his 56 series victories are the most of any driver. ... The Late Model race was on the undercard of a Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series event won by Wayne Johnson of Knoxville, Iowa. ... The tour stopped at one of its home tracks for the third of four 2014 visits. ... After a Lakeside Speedway doubleheader on Oct. 3-4, the series wraps up its season Oct. 11 at I-80.
On the move: The winning Berck started sixth; fourth-place finisher Corey Zeitner of Omaha, Neb., improved from his 13th starting spot.
Winner's sponsors: Berck's No. 14 Missile Chassis has sponsorship from Aurora Agronomy, Bosselman Oil, BSB Manufacturing, Five Star Truck Center, Kaser Blasting & Coatings, Steven's Buffalo Meats & Hunts, Strobel Manufacturing and Wegner Automotive Research.
Points chase: Berck exits I-80 with a 50-point lead over Pospisil, who also leads I-80's track standings.
Car count: 26
Polesitter: Al Zeitner
Heat race winners: Justin Gregg, Brian Kosiski, Al Humphrey
