What won the race: Second-starting Justin Kay of Wheatland, Iowa, outran eighth-starting Cayden Carter of Oskaloosa, Iowa, capturing the opening night of the Highway 20 Triple Crown at Farley Speedway in IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series competition. Kay earned $2,000.
Key notes: The race was originally scheduled for 50 laps but cut to 35 because of time constraints; the feature rolled on the track at 12:17 a.m. ... Jesse Sobbing pulled into the pits on the final lap running third. ... Ten of 24 starters finished the race. ... This race was originally scheduled for April 14, but was postponed by rain, setting up a Deery Brothers Summer Series tripleheader. … Cash bonuses totaling $1,500 will be added to purses paid during the three-race Deery series weekend. Drivers who compete at all three events are eligible for bonuses based on points for the weekend.
