The starting field for the Governor's Cup feature with winner Riley Hickman outside row one.
What won the race: Outside polesitter Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, Tenn., outran third-starting Jack Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark., for a $5,000 victory in the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned Governor's Cup at Magnolia Motor Speedway.
Key notes: Hickman scored his second series victory of the season; his last came at Talladega Short Track on June 11. ... The tour made its seventh appearance at Magnolia. ... Bub McCool of Vicksburg, Miss., won last year's event, but was not on hand Saturday. ... The event was originally scheduled to pay $10,000-to-win. ... The series takes a month off before returning to action on Aug. 13 at Talladega.
