Thursday’s rescheduled Deery Brothers Summer Series event at Boone (Iowa) Speedway has been cancelled amid a wet week. The race originally scheduled for Monday won’t be rescheduled.

The Late Model tour’s portion of the week-long IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals was cancelled because there wasn’t enough dry ground in the pits for Late Model haulers, officials said. Boone’s big week continues Thursday with modified and stock car qualifying.

The 32nd annual Deery Brothers series now ends with the Governor’s Cup event at Davenport Speedway on Sept. 21.
