RURAL RETREAT, Va. (Aug. 30-31) — Making perhaps his last start on dirt before making his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut the following weekend, Austin Dillon of Welcome, N.C., made a fourth-to-first charge just after the midpoint of the 75-lap fifth annual Pro Late Model Nationals at Wythe Raceway and raced to a $10,000 Fastrak Racing Series victory.

Dillon, the grandson of legendary NASCAR team owner Richard Childress, made a power move outside turn one on lap 45 to overtake Lee Cooper and Shannon Buckingham, then disposed of leader Royce Bray on the next lap at the half-mile oval and led the rest of the way.
